Cyberpunk Isometric RPG Gamedec Launches on PC in September

Launched with a starting goal of $50k, the Kickstarter campaign to fund Gamedec hit its target in 36 hours. Announced back in 2019 during gamescom, this single-player non-combat cyberpunk isometric RPG finally has a release date. Developed by Anshar Studios, Gamedec aims to tell the engaging story of a game detective, someone who investigates crime in both the Realium and Virtualium of Warsaw City. In the XXII Century, virtual worlds give people a release for their vices. You are a specialist, a Gamedec, that must find answers to your client’s questions.

Create a character and shape them over the course of the game’s branching narrative. As you play, the game changes with your decisions, and it’s up to you to get to the bottom of the mystery. As you talk with NPCs to gather intel, different dialog options will open or close depending on your past actions and interactions. Much like a tabletop RPG, Gamedec focuses on character development and gives you the freedom to approach a situation from your own angle.

Gamedec will launch on September 16 for PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. There is a plan to release the game for the Nintendo Switch but there is no date for that yet. If you want to see the game in action for yourself, be sure to keep an eye out for the demo releasing closer to launch. Until then, check out the reveal date trailer and the narrative branching trailer to get a better look at the game.
