Get ready to put on your Nanosuit because Crysis is coming back. Crytek has announced the release of the Crysis Remastered Trilogy coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this Fall. The bundle, optimized in partnership with Saber Interactive, will include Crysis Remastered, which was released as a standalone game this past September, along with Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 which have not been remastered yet.

For those unfamiliar with the iconic Crysis series, you play as a super-soldier named Prophet as you protect the world from Alien invaders. You’re equipped with the best technology available, the most important piece being your Nanosuit which is equipped with speed, strength, armor, and cloaking abilities. As the games progress and the world crumbles a bit more, you’re Nanosuit only evolves. Alongside the Nanosuit you’ll have an arsenal of advanced weaponry at your disposal, giving you the tools you need to fight against the Alien, and sometimes human, forces standing in your way.

The series has made a name for itself for being taxing on even the more high-end PCs back in the day, making way for the famous “But can it run Crysis?” meme. Now, not only will all three games be upgraded to (relatively) current-gen hardware, making way for a potential Crysis 4, but it will somehow be smashed down on the tiny Nintendo Switch cartridge. While we still have to wait and see how the games perform upon release, this is a great way for a new generation of gamers to experience one of the best sci-fi action game series of all time.

There is no exact release date for the Crysis Remastered Trilogy at this time. Crysis 2 Remastered and Crysis 3 Remastered will also be available for purchase separately at the same time as the trilogy bundle. Check out the announcement trailer for Crysis Remastered Trilogy showing off the game’s enhanced visuals.
