Everything Announced at Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase

Today was the mother of all conferences, the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. This is the first year of their exclusive partnership and the hype was at an all-time high, and let me say that they delivered! If you missed it, don’t worry, because here is everything that was talked about and announced:

* = available day 1 on Xbox GamePass

Every New Game Coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2021

Any trailers or gameplay shown at the conference are linked to the names of the game in the list above, so click the name to check that out.

The conference began with the much anticipated Starfield. We got a trailer and release date, which was actually leaked a few hours before the conference began, but it was still nice to see it in the conference to start off the many exciting announcements to come. One bit of news that may shock some people is that the game will indeed be an Xbox exclusive and it will be next-gen so Xbox Series X|S release.

Sea of Thieves will be getting Captain Jack Sparrow soon, and along with him comes the one and only Davy Jones in Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life

Twelve Minutes is an interactive thriller starring James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe. This cast alone makes the game worth checking out. Not to mention the intriguing story that is at the heart of the game.

DOOM Eternal will be getting a next-gen upgrade to 120fps performance mode or a 60fps 4K visual mode.

Help celebrate Skyrim’s 10th Anniversary by sharing your stories, artwork, and more on

Fallout 76 is getting two DLCs, Steel Reign and Expeditions The Pitt. The latter will take place in Pittsburgh, PA.

Elder Scrolls Online will be getting a conclusion to the story this fall. More information on what exactly that'll be coming soon.

Grounded showed off their new Shroomed and Doomed update that will be releasing June 30. The update will add new features to the game as well as a new mode for those that are scared of spiders. This time with added achievements for people that like hunting.

Among Us coming to consoles on June 15. It will feature 15 people lobbies with 3 imposters coming soon. During Summer Game Fest on Thursday, the Among Us team announced several new updates coming to the game.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is also releasing a free Top Gun-inspired expansion coming in the fall of 2021 by showcasing a Maverick character in his jet.

The next installment in the Forza series will be set in the beautiful landscapes of Mexico in Forza Horizon 5. Similar to beauty spots in the previous games, you’ll be able to look at some murals from Mexican artists.

The conference ended with a trailer for a completely new IP, Redfall. This game looks to be a four-player co-op adventure similar to a Left 4 Dead type of game that takes place in the future and the enemies seem to be these Vampires with some special abilities.

This conference, as mentioned in the introduction, did not disappoint. Xbox seems to have learned from their previous mistakes by not getting enough exclusive titles to remain truly competitive with Playstation and brought in a bunch of unique studios to create even more unique titles. Xbox also continued to display how much of an absolute steal a game pass subscription is by showing that most of the highly anticipated titles will be available to play on day one through Game Pass at no additional charge. The next E3 conference is Square Enix Presents in less than an hour. Check back here to see everything they announce including a potential Guardians of the Galaxy game from Eidos Montreal.
