Gearbox Announces New Tales From The Borderlands Game

Today kicked off PAX East 2022 and the headline of the main stage was Gearbox. Gearbox talked about many things including their new acquisitions, new and existing games, a slight update on the Borderlands movie, and an announcement of a new interactive narrative-based game within the Borderlands universe.

While not much was said about the plot or where/when in the Borderlands universe this will take place, we do know that it will release sometime in 2022 and that an official announcement of the game will be coming sometime this summer. We do also know that the game was made entirely within Gearbox and will be used as a way to introduce new characters and additional world-building for the Borderlands universe.
