Twin Sails Interactive has announced that Gloomhaven, the critically acclaimed tactical RPG originally developed by Flaming Fowl Studios and adapted for consoles by Saber Interactive, will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in September, with full cross-play across all platforms. Based on Isaac Childres’ acclaimed board game (winner of six Golden Geek awards), Gloomhaven features unique card-based gameplay and is fully playable in online co-op for up to four players.

Originally released on PC and Mac with over 500,000 units sold plus “Very Positive” reviews on Steam, Gloomhaven is set in a dark fantasy universe that combines the best elements of strategic board gaming and digital adventuring. Delve into the entire epic board game campaign, covering the original 95 scenarios and event missions brimming with danger and excitement, to become the best mercenary team in the city of Gloomhaven. Or play through the digital-exclusive Guildmaster campaign, where over 160 missions await. There are thousands of abilities to discover, along with hundreds of perks, enhancements, and gear to customize your loadout as you master your team synergies and deck to survive against hordes of fearsome undead, monsters, and demons.

Starting today, fans can pre-order two versions of Gloomhaven and receive a 10% pre-launch discount. Gloomhaven: Mercenaries Edition is available for $35.99 (standard price $39.99) and includes the base game and the Solo Scenarios: Mercenary Challenges DLC. Gloomhaven: Gold Edition is available for $44.99 (standard price $49.99) and includes everything in the Mercenaries Edition, plus the Jaws of the Lion DLC and four accompanying skins.

Jaws of the Lion is Gloomhaven’s first major content expansion and includes four new mercenaries, new enemies, 22 new city events, 10 new items, 24 new battle goals, 25 scenarios from the original board game expansion, and more, delivering over 30 hours of new content that takes players to the undercity of Gloomhaven. The Solo Scenarios: Mercenary Challenges DLC is a digital adaptation of Isaac Childres’ board game expansion, refined and rebalanced for digital play. This second DLC offers 17 deadly Solo Scenarios that players can complete to obtain 17 unique items – each designed for one specific mercenary. Featuring 20 hours of bonus content, this DLC creates a punishing challenge for experienced players to truly prove their skills. Both DLC packs will be available on consoles at launch, and each is fully playable in online co-op for up to four players.

Gloomhaven will release on September 18 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. You can pre-order the physical version of Gloomhaven: Mercenaries Edition now. Every physical edition includes the Gloomhaven base game, the Solo Scenarios: Mercenary Challenges DLC, and one of six exclusive collectible cards (while supplies last), on September 19 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch at all major retailers.
