GreedFall: The Dying World is launching out of Early Access and making the leap onto consoles today. On your roughly 30-hour adventure through the continent of Gacane, you and your party of companions will run, sneak, and battle all foes and obstacles that come your way.
This guide will list out all the companions, their weapon of choice, and their specialties, but there will be spoilers ahead as some of the companions can be surprises. In typical ARPG fashion, there are a few twists and turns in the story, and finding out who you can party up with may spoil the fun.
- NÍLAN | Ranged and Support | Bow
- A native of Teer Fradee, he is your childhood best friend. Like you, he is beginning his initiation to become a Sage, and he takes his role as a guardian of your people’s knowledge very seriously.
- SHÉDA | Tank | Two-Handed Mace
- A native of Teer Fradee and a longtime friend of the protagonist and Nílan. She is a fierce warrior who takes on the role of protector throughout your quest to become a Doneigad, and she does not hesitate to put her life in danger to save yours.
- ALVIDA | Melee | Sword
- Alvida belongs to the Nauts guild, renowned for its expertise in navigation and maritime exploration. Rebellious, strong, and determined, she has a great moral sense and pursues her ideals with an iron will.
- LUDWIG | Tank | One-Handed Mace
- A former soldier of the Deutan Empire and a smuggler, Ludwig refuses to be portrayed as a hero. He detests false politeness and is quite aggressive towards those he holds responsible for the suffering of the poor.
- FAUSTA | Ranged and Support | Magic Thélème Rings
- Born to a noble and renowned family, Fausta is a spy from Thélème. Despite her sociable nature and diplomatic skills, she is discreet, reserved, and solitary in her private life.
- SYBILLE | Melee and Ranged | Daggers
- Born into an illustrious family belonging to the Merchant Congregation faction, Sybille was initiated at a very young age into the art of politics and conspiracies. Wary at first, she is ready to make any sacrifice for those who manage to earn her trust.
- SAFIA | Ranged and Support | Rifle
- An anti-imperialist at heart, Safia is from the Bridge Alliance faction. She is a seasoned explorer with a curiosity for the world around her and an expert in firearms.
- TILL | Tank | Two-Handed Sword
- A former captain of the Coin Guard, Till now seeks redemption by helping you. Loyal, reserved, but somewhat gruff, Till is an experienced fighter who excels at protecting his allies.
