Where Our Revenue Goes
Respawn Station was created to create meaningful and productive discussions around video games. Every member of our team has a day job to keep the lights on and all the articles you see are a product of passion for the industry. You might notice that we have plenty of ads on the site and though it doesn’t generate much, we wanted to give you an idea of where that money goes.
For starters, a portion of the money we make on the website goes into keeping it up and running. Domain names and servers are monthly or yearly expenses that are necessary to keep the site functioning. Once that is said and done, we are proud to say that the rest of the money goes back to the community. We frequently go to websites like Kickstarter and IndieGogo to find interesting games to support. We don’t always have the ability to give a lot, but we promise it all goes to cool games in the end.
