Chivalry 2 is Out Now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC

Inspired by epic medieval movie battles, Chivalry 2 is a first-person multiplayer slasher that places you right into every iconic moment of action from the era. The sequel to Chivalry: Medieval WarfareChivalry 2, from Torn Banner Studios, is finally leaving the open beta stage and getting a full release. Fight to the death in large 64 player Team Objective maps or take part in smaller battles in Team Deathmatch and Free-for-All game modes.

There are 5 Team Objective maps in the game. In Escape from Falmire, a new TO map, players must breach the city gates and free prisoners before pushing to a final castle siege to rescue a war hero. Chivalry 2 also 3 Team Deathmatch and Free-for-All maps. The Fighting Pit, a new TDM and FFA map, has you fighting to the death while avoiding traps in an arena to entertain local drunks.

The game also has an extensive subclass system that takes four base classes and expands them into twelve subclasses, such as a Skirmisher, a melee/ranged hybrid, or a Poleman, a fighter who uses long-distance melee. And there is a wide variety of weapons for you to chose from to defeat your enemies, such as Catapults, Spike traps, Ladders, Mantlets, and more. You can also utilize “found items” on the field to your advantage, so chalice of mead on the ground, chug it, and then use that chalice to smash someone’s skull or strike down your enemies with a flaming chicken.

Chivalry 2 is also available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Epic Games Store. The game has Cross-Play enabled meaning players on all systems can play together. When it comes to purchasing the games, you have two options. There’s the Standard Edition, priced at $39.99, which will get you the game, and there’s the Special Edition, which comes with exclusive in-game content for $49.99. Both versions are available across all platforms listed above, and they offer free upgrades to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
