First-Person Spellcaster Wizordum is Out Now in Early Access

With Turbo Overkill earlier this year and now Wizordum, Apogee Entertainment has been showing a lot of love to the retro first-person shooter market. Their newest game sees you uncovering ancient magical mysteries in Wizordum, a sanctuary for mages. When agents of Chaos attack the surrounding lands, set out to find the source of destruction as a brave cleric on a journey inspired by ‘90s fps classics.

Cleanse the dilapidated Town of Grimbrook in search of clues leading to the source of Chaos. Bash corrupted beings and mercenary goblins with a sharp-edged mace, and blast ornery ogres to oblivion with enchanted weapons while avoiding traps and solving maze-like puzzles. Conjure up greater challenges with multiple difficulty levels, and speedrun to the top of online leaderboards.

One neat addition to the package is a level editor. Create challenging adventures, full-length episodes, and everything in between with the in-game level editor, and download creations from fellow mages on Steam and GOG alike. Wizordum is out now on PC via Steam Early Access. The game normally costs $14.99 but there is a 10% off Introductory Sale until December 6. You can watch the vibrant action trailer below.
