Children of Silentown is Coming to Consoles and PC in Early 2022

Cute and creepy are not two words you often see describing the same thing, but both are definitely accurate when it comes to Children of Silentown from Daedalic Entertainment, Elf Games, and Luna2 Studio. In Children of Silentown, you play as a young girl named Lucy who lives in a town surrounded by monster-infested woods. All the children of the town are terrified of the monsters at all times, even in their dreams they don’t feel safe enough to play. It’s become commonplace for members of the town to randomly go missing, but Lucy has decided enough is enough, it is time to investigate.

In Children of Silentown, you will search for clues, solve puzzles, and interact with other characters and animals. Make sure to be nice to everyone, because you never know when they’ll disappear. While exploring you must make sure to never enter the forest, and there is a mean cat who is programmed to thwart Lucy at every chance it gets to add on to the difficulty of solving the mystery at hand. There are also a few other fun features in Children of Silentown including minigames that you can play with the other children and items that can be combined for unexpected results.

The game has a unique 2D art style that helps give it the cute/creepy description. Alongside the animation style, music also plays a big role in Children of Silentown, and learning how to sing will help Lucy greatly in times of need throughout the game. To get a glimpse at the look and sound of Children of Silentown, which is set to release in early 2022 for console and PC, check out the reveal trailer here and there is currently a free prologue available on Steam. And while you are there, you can Wishlist the game now as well.
