Downward: Enhanced Edition is Coming to Consoles and PC Next Month

Plug In Digital is partnering up with indie developer Caracal Games Studio, to share a surprise announcement about parkour-based indie game, Downward. Set off on humanity’s final adventure and seek out an explanation for the calamity that changed the planet. Downward is a first-person open-world adventure set in the medieval ruins of a post-apocalyptic Earth.

Collect experience to upgrade your character’s stats and powers, use anomalies to your advantage, and use your parkouring skills to traverse the map and face Ancient Guardians. Be thorough because the end of the story will depend on the path you took, the treasure you spotted, and the way you explored the world.

  • Discover | Explore an open world and enjoy breathtaking landscapes, to reach secret places, and collect useful items and hidden treasures.
  • Parkour | Jump, slide, hang, and experience challenging first-person parkour action throughout ruins of the past.

Downward: Enhanced Edition is set to land on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 4. This Enhanced Edition boasts improved graphics and new assets, along with new alternative endings. It will be available to everyone who owns the game on Steam already as a free update.
