2D Western Soulslike Tombwater is Available Now

The development duo at Moth Atlas and publisher Midwest Games have just released Tombwater, a 2D Soulslike set in the mysterious titular town. You play as a lone gunslinger, drawn to the eerie, decaying streets by the disappearance of a long-lost friend, Sheriff Elliott Flintwood.

Tombwater packs in 95 enemy types, including 25 bosses, and 16 unique biomes, all of which will take 20 to 25 hours to experience. Fight Eldritch terrors and protect your own sanity as you uncover the truth of what happened to the once-thriving community of Tombwater.

Key Features of Tombwater

  • 2D Top-Down Souls-Like: Journey through the souls-like genre from a whole new perspective. Experience nostalgic, gruesomely detailed pixel art in a top-down view with every classic souls-like mechanic.
  • Map & Quest Log: Keep track of your progress as you explore the interconnected Wild West world of Tombwater with a map and quest log.
  • Apothecary Crafting: Helpful tonics, explosives, and more can be crafted from materials you find while exploring to help aid you in battle.
  • Gruesome Boss Fights: Experience 25 blood-spilling battles against unimaginable Eldritch horror bosses, all of which will push you to the brink of madness.
