From indie publisher Wired Productions and developer Tomas Sala, The Falconeer released in November of 2020 as a launch title for the Xbox Series X|S. Since its release, the game has garnered a lot of critical acclaim including a BAFTA nomination for Debut Game. After 6 months of being an Xbox console exclusive, we have news that the 3rd person aerial combat game is soaring onto the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 as The Flaconeer: Warrior Edition.

The Warrior Edition will come with the base game and all previously released DLC including The Kraken, The Hunter, and Atun’s Folly, as well as the upcoming expansion,  Edge of the World. The game also features re-recorded voice-over and a streamlined prologue tutorial.

The Falconeer is an action-heavy air combat experience where performance matters. This is why it’s exciting and impressive that the game will run at a smooth 60fps on all consoles. And if you have a PlayStation 5, you can enjoy the game in 4K at 60fps while feeling every shot you fire thanks to the haptic feedback of the DualSense controller.

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition will release for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on August 5. On the same day, the Edge of the World expansion will be released which will bring additional side quests, map locations, a self-contained story, and a myriad of new items to add even more depth to The Great Ursee. The Warrior Edition is available for pre-order now and will cost $29.99 on PlayStation consoles and $34.99 on the Nintendo Switch. Click here to watch the trailer for The Falconeer: Warrior Edition.
