Publisher NeoBricks announced that Thy Creature, developed by South Korean indie developer Growing Seeds and MazM is leaving early access today. This atmospheric RPG game was inspired by Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein and showcases a beautiful anime art style that brings this dark fantasy to life.

In Thy Creature you play as a creature who, after fleeing a human village severely wounded, must seek refuge in a mysterious tower. The nameless main character will have to solve puzzles, encounter strange beings, make their way through distorted reality, and face forgotten memories as they climb higher to try and reach the top of the tower.

Features:

  • Anime-styled graphics blend detail with gothic horror.
  • Intricate puzzles to solve with unique lore items to collect.
  • A variety of enemies and bosses to battle in high-intensity, fast-paced bullet hell.
  • An atmospheric soundtrack that drives the gameplay.
  • An emotional story that revolves around lost memories and forgotten fragments.

Thy Creature is out now on Steam for $19.99 with plans for French and German support coming in January. The Nintendo Switch release is planned to be sometime in 2023.
