What do Michael Madsen, Chuck Norris, Danny Trejo, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover, and Vanilla Ice have in common? They all star in Crime Boss: Rockay City from INGAME STUDIOS and 505 Games. While the game has been out on PC for a few months, we now know when the star-studded first-person shooter will be coming to next-gen consoles.

Travis Baker sets out on the classic American story of starting from nothing and clawing his way to the throne of a criminal world by any means necessary. After a mysterious death puts the city’s lords in a power struggle vortex, Baker will have to use his grit and wits to conduct effective heists. Tackle Baker’s Battle, a solo campaign where arrest by Sheriff Norris brings an end to Madsen’s character’s reign of lucrative terror. Or team up with friends online in quick missions or extended mini-campaigns shedding light on the colorful characters of Rockay City.

Along with the next-gen news we also got a roadmap outlining future content. As you can see above, the team aims to have regular updates and content drops going all the way out to 2024. There is a mix of unspecified free updates and paid expansion packs stars the likes of Danny Trejo and Chuck Norris. It will be interesting to see if INGAME STUDIOS is able to hit all the expected dates, but it is nice to see that they aren’t moving away from the game anytime soon.

Crime Boss: Rockay City will release digitally for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on June 15. The physical edition will hit storefronts a few months later, on September 5. The physical version of the game will also include the game’s first weapons pack. You can watch the new fourth-wall braking trailer below.
