Call of the Wild: The Angler the open-world fishing game from Expansive Worlds is swimming onto consoles today. Featuring a unique and approachable map full of fishing spots to cast a line at and natural terrain to explore, the game will target 60fps on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X while aiming for 30fps on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S.

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, players can choose between Performance or Quality mode in the game settings, favoring an increased framerate or graphical quality and resolution. Improvements have also been made to controller rumble and haptics so that console gamers will be able to truly immerse themselves.

Call of the Wild: The Angler is out now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is also available on Xbox Game Pass. There is also a Launch Edition and Deluxe Edition of the game available for purchase. The recent Evolution Update for the game contained a large number of improvements and features including a redesigned tutorial, the first phase of the overhauled progression system, improved rumble and haptics, eight new fish species in the Golden Ridge Reserve, and quality of life updates.
