Classic 90s Crime Shooter Returns in Kingpin: Reloaded

Three years after it was announced, the remastered 90s shooter, Kingpin, makes its long-awaited return to a life of crime. From developer Slipgate Ironworks and publishers 3D Realms and Interplay, Kingpin: Reloaded is an enhanced version of the classic criminal-themed first-person shooter. In a lawless gangland, an unknown ruffian emerges after a brutal pummeling, hellbent on taking down the merciless Kingpin.

Kingpin: Reloaded breathes life into a late ‘90s FPS classic, enhanced for modern audiences. Originally developed on the renowned Quake II engine, Kingpin: Reloaded offers 4K resolution, ultrawide monitor support, controller integration, and the ability to toggle between “classic” and “enhanced” modes for a tailored gameplay experience.

Roam the crime-ridden streets of noir art deco-inspired environments. Recruit fellow mobsters to build an unstoppable gang, tackling hub-based missions and upgrading a deadly arsenal. While Kingpin: Reloaded does not shy away from its foul-mouthed roots, those who want to tread on the pacifist side can opt into a “no violence” mode.

We’re thrilled to bring the enhanced version of a certified cult classic to life. This is an excellent opportunity for veterans to revisit the charm of boomer shooters and for newcomers to experience it for the first time.
