Control has garnered a lot of critical acclaim since its release in 2019, and the game only got better with the recent release of the Ultimate Edition on next-gen consoles. Developer Remedy Entertainment has announced today a partnership with publisher 505 Games to make a multiplayer spin-off to their cerebral sci-fi action-adventure game.

Condor is a 4 player PvE game being developed with a budget of EUR 25 million. The game will be built on Remedy’s Northlight engine and it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There is no date on when the release will be or even what kind of gameplay it will feature. Though, taking a look at Remedy’s past titles it’s safe to assume it will be a third-person shooter.

Fans disappointed that the single-player game they enjoyed is getting multiplayer spin-off will be happy to hear that Remedy and 505 Games are further collaborating on another Control game as well. This sequel will have a bigger budget and expand on the world of Control.

Remedy Entertainment has been very busy, along with these two titles, they are also working on CrossfireX, which is aiming for a release later this year, along with two unannounced games that are being developed in partnership with Epic Games. Looking at their plate, Condor and Control both seem to be a few years away from release.
